Frequently Asked Questions
We do our best to inform you well, but some questions may remain.
This FAQ page offers clear answers on the Belgian delegation’s activities, logistics, and key highlights.
Can I buy a ticket for the pre-tour without going to the conference?
Pre-tour only tickets are not available, as spots are limited and priority is given to JCI members attending the conference in Málaga. If you're interested in joining the pre-tour, feel free to email us. Should any spots remain, we’ll reach out to you directly.
Is there a possibility to have a single or triple room?
Yes! When booking your ticket, you can choose a single room or double room option. Please note that website prices are based on double rooms. Single rooms come with an additional fee. New this year are the triple rooms, however they are subject to availability. Please book a double room and send us an e-mail about your interest in a triple room. We will check the availability and will give you a discount (refunded at the time of room assignment).
Is transport included in the packs?
Your flight to Málaga is NOT included in our packs.
However, local transport between Málaga and Sevilla (start of the pre-tour) and between Sevilla and Málaga (end of the pre-tour) is included.
Which flight would you recommend for those joining the pre-tour?
On Saturday April 25th, there are no direct flights to Sevilla. It is also cheaper to book a return flight leaving from the same airport. Therefore we will organize a bus trip going from Málaga to Sevilla and we recommend to take one of these flights on April 25th:
Zaventem (6 a.m.) - Málaga (9:05 a.m.)
Oostende (6 a.m.) - Málaga (9:10 a.m.)
For the return flight on May 3, you can choose yourself. If you want to stay an extra night in the hotel, you can contact us and we will check directly with the hotel.
How do we travel from Sevilla to Málaga after the pre-tour?
All pre-tour participants will travel together by bus from Sevilla to Málaga. We even planned a special stop along the way to make the journey even more enjoyable.
When is the last moment to buy my ticket?
The Last-Minute Flamingo closes on March 29, as we need to finalize reservations at least a month in advance. Still hoping to join after that date? Send us an email—we’ll do our best to fit you in, though we can’t guarantee access to the full program.
How do I determine my T-shirt size?
Is my conference ticket included in the Belgian pack?
No, this is not included. You can buy your conference ticket via this link.
Can I join the Belgian delegation without staying in the same hotel?
We encourage all Belgians going to the conference to join us in the Illunion hotel. However, we will add a light pack for the Belgian delegation in January. This will include the t-shirt, Belgian reception and access to updates on the conference or optional extra activities.
Are there any additional expenses on site?
Our package is very comprehensive and most costs are included, such as the hotel, transport going to Sevilla (and return to Málaga), all activities and breakfast, lunch and dinners with drinks. Anyone who wishes to go out after the evening program—for example, for extra drinks or an activity on their own initiative—will cover those costs themselves. Any personal purchases or free time outside the program are also at your own expense.
My Bancontact payment didn’t go through. What should I do?
Depending on the limit you’ve set for online Bancontact payments, the transaction may not succeed. You can either increase your payment limit or complete your order via bank transfer.
Is insurance included in the package?
No, travel and medical insurance are not included in the packages. Each Participant is responsible for arranging their own insurance as stated in the Terms and Conditions accepted at booking.
Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?
Yes, you may cancel your registration in writing by email to info@jciec2026.be up to and including 15 December 2024. In that case, a €50 administration fee will be deducted from your refund.
If you cancel after 15 December 2024, no refund is guaranteed.
Can I resell or transfer my ticket/package?
Yes, resale or transfer of purchased packages (both the pre-tour and the Belgian Pack) is allowed, subject to an administrative fee of €50 per person.
After 15 March 2025, some activity tickets or supplier-provided entries may no longer be transferable. In such cases, the new participant may be denied access to those specific activities. If you want clarity about transfers after that date, please contact us.
Please note: the transferability of the official European Conference ticket (sold via the EC Málaga site or other conference channels) depends entirely on the conference organiser’s rules and is outside our control.
